In April 2016, the Lansing BWL's corporate system was hacked by ransomware for what would last for almost three weeks. I lead the communications response to the community and employees, as well as developed talking points for the general manager. I have also publicly spoken on this topic several times. Digital Signage
Project Manager
I managed the implementation of a digital signage system throughout the organization, including screening vendors and overseeing the contract, managing the installation of 52 screens and developing all of the content broadcast. The project was finished on time and on budget, and significantly improved internal communications to field personnel.
Paid Parental Leave
Advocate
As a soon to be new mom, I saw an opportunity for my organization to offer more benefits for future parents. I successfully pitched paid parental leave to executive staff, which has since been implemented, even though I knew I wouldn't benefit from it. I want my son to know he inspired change before he was even born.

BWL Smart Meters

To help our customers better understand the background and process of installing smart meters, I wrote and provided the voiceover for this short animation. In large part to the communication plan developed, less than 0.5% of customers refused the new service.
